Had the Golden Burger, basically the pastrami hamburger on Texas toast. It was perfect. Well...could've used more fry sauce but that's a personal preference. Cost was $5.48 with tax, less than a Crown Burger. Pastrami was a lot more moist than a crown burger. Big sandwich. Didn't feel sick or sluggish afterward. I think the crown burger has a stronger seasoning of some kind...which gives it more of a signature flavor and it arguably tastes better on the first few bites, but then starts to be a little too much by the time you finish and there is an aftertaste. Apollo was more mild in that sense. Crown burger is good but it's a little overpowering if you eat it all by itself. So you need fries and a drink to balance it out. Apollo wasn't that way. Didn't try anything else, but the Golden Burger was very good. Maybe 4 or 4.5 stars but I'm rounding up because there wasn't any hype to this place and it over delivered, and perhaps there's been a management change since the older reviews which proclaim horror and misery.

I like Apollo Burger. I am not saying it's the best but it's alright. I usually come here and order the Junior Cheeseburger combo ($5). I appreciate the fact that they serve a very consistent charbroiled burger at such an inexpensive price. Good luck going to crown burger and paying the same. I would not compare this place to Crown Burger because each has their own take on the Pastrami burger and both are completely different in taste. I recommend that you come here when it's not lunch hour or dinner time to appreciate a decent burger. I lived in the midwest for a while and would crave charbroiled burgers. There were none of these type of burger joints in town. With that in mind - I would take Apollo any day of the week to satisfy my burger fix.

Hmmm...I have driven by several times and always thought about trying this place. It was jusf okay. Service was fine and the food was ehhhh....okay. I wouldn't be missing anything if I had just kept driving by. On a positive note, my daughter enjoyed thed corn dog and fries on the kids menu.

Check your order before you leave the drive up..was shorted items on previous visit and called manager on duty at the time..was instructed to tell manager upon next visit..Jennifer the manager on duty the night I returned would not honor the 1 cheeseburger and fries I was shorted on previous visit.. Really? Understand they must get people who try to cheat them but maybe they should not mess up on the orders so often and if they do..take care of the customer. However, the burgers were good.

Pastrami used to be their signature.... no more. Signature burger should be called the stringy fat with some pastrami burger. This is what happens to places who give up and get tired. Pastrami was formerly their specialty. Now it's just bad meat gristle turned into pastrami flavored gristle. Take a bite, pull and the entire thing is connected! What a delight. Been there 3 times (I work nearby) and it truly is sad that they don't care more for their signature dish. the concept LEAN PASTRAMI is no where to be found. Fries are good and fry sauce is 25 cents. Place is expensive for what you get given they don't care anymore.

They usually screw up the order by NOT GIVING YOU EVERYTHING! It's lucky their a franchise and couldn't care less or they would be out of business!

Just puked again... For the tenth time tonight. Please avoid, or roll the dice. This is bad. Never again. Should have read down a few reviews.

I ate at this place yesterday - I was desperate and the place I wanted to go was closed. I ordered the pastrami burger thinking it would be like a crown burger. What a poor choice. I was struck with FOOD POISONING 4 hours later. Food poisoning = never again.

man who took our order was impossible to understand. leading to him missing one of our orders. when we got our food it wasn't even correct so instead of waiting for the one burger he missed we ended up waiting for all three to be re done. I'm not usually one to complain but I was unable to self fix my burger. the only "I'm sorry" we got was a free drink which we had intended on ordering anyways if the man was listening in the first place. been here before and it was awesome. so very disappointed now and most likely will never return.

Recently, I complained about there not being a Crown Burger in Bountiful or somewhere within 20 minutes. That friend pointed me to Apollo Burger, stating it was virtually the same. It tries to be, but is not the same quality or flavorful yumminess! It would be like saying I virtually slept vs I slept - there is a difference! First, I went through the drive through and was surprised how long I waited after paying for my food (almost 10 min) for what I would expect to be their most popular item - the Apollo burger. Second, the burger was very juicy but otherwise lacking in flavor. I expected some kind of flavorful sauce or the pastrami to be peppery, but neither were true. I will say the fries were delicious! Overall, an ok option if I am craving the competition and want something virtually similar, but not a replacement or a place to frequent.

They've revamped! Dare I say, I prefer Apollo over the other like-minded burger places! More consistent, better quality, and best of all, more thoroughly cooked fries!

Well i was recommended by a coworker and he said this place was awesome so of course I had to try it out so had a avocado turkey sandwich thinking it would be the typical small burger place turkey sandwich but WOW it was huge for the price and and surprisingly really good also all the vegetables were fresh just like you would make it at home. Good Job Guys

This place has changed.... so what, they use to hire under age work force but the food was awesome back than. During the ol appollo you might be rolling the dice for either awesome ness or the toilet for hours. I say bring back the kids and let me gamble. Nowadays Odds are in your favor of getting a very over priced average dining experience topped with a logoed mint.

You've got to know what to order. Not everything is great, but this is amazing: bacon double cheeseburger plain. Make sure you get a thing of fry sauce to dip it in. I'm allergic to onions, and the burgers all come with a mayo/lettuce/onion sauce. So if you're like me or don't like onions, it's easier to order them plain here. I will usually add tomato as well.

Always a great go to - for a Pastrami Burger, Bacon Cheeseburger or Gyro. They have an extensive menu that has something for everyone. Their Oreo shakes are also fantastic!
